Featured Painting "The Crossing"

"The Crossing" is an exciting new addition to our collection.

This painting was originally sold through a gallery in Boston many years ago, and has recently resurfaced. "The Crossing" is an excellent example of Lawrence Baker's fine talent, and is now available as a true museum quality reproduction.

"The Crossing" is a compilation of subjects from different areas. For example, the railroad cars and tracks are from Brunswick, Maine, and the crossing guard shack is from Waltham, MA. The man posing as the crossing guard is actually the family's beloved "Grampa", Joseph J. Uberti! Where the background came from is still a mystery.

The vibrant colors and sharp detail of the subjects perfectly scaled and combined together in this painting are simply outstanding. This masterpiece is sure to brighten up and add interest to any room. Available through our Gallery at LawrenceBaker.com in full or reduced size (33"x22.5" or 16"x26"), on canvas or archival paper.
